The Bacchus MARQUIS-STD is a worthy heir to the famous DUKE series from Japanese manufacturer DEVISER. Inspected before shipping by BACCHUS teams in Matsumoto (Nagano Prefecture), it offers a top-of-the-range playing experience at a contained price.

Designed for demanding guitarists who want an instrument that's elegant, comfortable and versatile, this guitar will win you over with its timeless look and meticulous craftsmanship.

Selected woods for a warm sound and excellent durability

Nyatoh body and neck: This Asian wood is renowned for its mahogany-like qualities. It delivers a warm sound, with rich mid-range and good resonance. Thanks to its moderate weight, the guitar remains comfortable even over long sessions.
Rosewood fingerboard: Appreciated for its round sound, it softens overly bright attacks and adds depth in the low and midrange.

Electronics and fittings: simple, effective and versatile

2 in-house humbuckers: the double coils developed by Bacchus use stable, powerful ferrite magnets. The result? A sound that's full, warm and clear, capable of covering a wide range of styles - from velvety blues-rock to more modern, edgy solos.
