Torrefied Maple is a material that results from treating maple wood with a high temperature process that volatilizes the water and oils in the wood, resulting in a stronger, more durable wood that increases not only the stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound we get from torrefied maple is a rich, organic sound, with a vintage tone reminiscent of an instrument that has aged with time and use. This is a new product line from Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models.
Because of its high stiffness, birdseye maple is very resistant to natural problems, and it produces a sound similar to that of a vintage guitar.
This new Bacchus Global Series model features a two-horn body shape, two single-coil pickups, two-point tremolo and a torrified maple neck.
The front position produces a mellow sound, while the rear position produces a crisp, cutting sound. It also produces a slightly violent sound when used with distortion.
The resulting guitar is more versatile than it looks.
The locking machine head tuner is a mechanism in which the rod in the string post rises when the wheel at the back of the machine head is turned and locks when the string is tightened. By reducing the number of wraps on the string post, the stability of the tuning is greatly improved.
It is equipped with a Wilkinson® WV2-CR.two-point tremolo, which provides up and down range of motion, and allows for tuning stability while giving you access to subtle nuances in your performance.
