Commemorative design and sublime aesthetics

Inspired by Japanese autumn mountains, the Autumn Mountain Gradation finish combines shades of red and black in a magnificent diagonal gradient, symbolizing twilight on autumn leaves. This meticulous design harmonizes perfectly with the crane motif engraved on the headstock, a symbol of luck and travel, marking the 10th anniversary of the Sakura guitar. On the back of the head, the commemorative logo depicts a lady with a Japanese umbrella, adding a historical and artistic dimension to this instrument.

Technical features: Unique design

• Body: Yamazakura Japanese cherry wood
• Bracing: Inherited from the vintage 1934 model by Headway master builder Yasuo Momose, with a semi-forward shifter bracing for greater bass responsiveness and enhanced stability. The position of the X-cross is semi-forward, closer to the soundboard, and offers more bass response and volume than new. By being 5 mm closer to the bridge than the forward offset, the design also takes soundboard stability into account.
• Inlays: Cherry blossoms in acrylic and wood on the fingerboard, Purple Heart cover plate.
• Finish: Autumn Mountain gradation.
• Sonority: Warm midrange, deep bass and smooth treble.
