This guitar embodies Deviser’s philosophy: crafting instruments that express the seasons and spirit of Japan through noble tonewoods and exceptional craftsmanship.
Its Black Vertical Gradation finish evokes the castle’s silhouette at sunset — where shadow meets light.

 A tribute to Matsumoto and its seasons

Since 2014, Deviser’s Sakura Guitars have celebrated the beauty of Japan’s four seasons.
The MT-SAKURA MATSUMOTO Edition "Summer" continues this tradition with a modern interpretation of the theme:

• The headstock features a stylized inlay of Matsumoto Castle, delicately engraved.

• The treble clef inlay on the fingerboard recalls “Gaku” — the kanji for “music” (楽), one of the three symbols that define Matsumoto’s identity: 学 (learning), 楽 (music), 岳 (mountain).

• The special pickguard, inspired by the blooming water lilies that can be admired along the castle’s moat, brings a touch of poetic elegance.

• Alder – known for its tonal neutrality and perfect balance across lows, mids, and highs. A responsive wood, ideal for precise clean tones or natural, musical overdrive.

• Maple neck – provides stability, brightness, and projection.

• Ebony fingerboard – delivers crisp attack, sustain, and an exceptionally smooth playing feel.
