Maple wood is a highly popular material among guitars, but for this exclusive Momose model, we have used a unique Exotic Maple from our Asuka workshop, showcasing beautiful patterns that are neither flame nor quilt. By coloring it with a "Brown Burst" finish and unifying the hardware with gold parts, we have achieved an aesthetic that emphasizes the richness and presence of the wood while maintaining a warm ambiance.

For the fingerboard, we have chosen Wenge, a wood with fine grain and high strength compared to materials like maple. Its integration into the fingerboard ensures a balanced and clear sound, along with sonic stability. Due to its stunning appearance, Wenge has long been utilized in Europe as a luxury wood for furniture.

The essential sound components include the original Momose pickups and GOTOH® hardware. We have installed the highly acclaimed Momose VJ5 pickups, which are also well-regarded in our regular models. Featuring Alnico 5 magnets, they deliver bass tones with bright highs and deep lows, specifically designed to accommodate the various playing styles of a 5-string bass.

To ensure reliability, we have selected high-quality GOTOH® hardware known for its stability and precision, guaranteeing optimal tuning stability.
