The RSM series uses torrefied maple; a material that results from treating the wood with a high-temperature process.this volatilises the water and oils contained in the wood, giving a stronger, more durable wood that increases not only the stability but also the overall sound quality of the instrument.the sound we get is a rich, raw sound with a vintage-like tone reminiscent of an instrument that has aged with time and use.
The Woodline Series "turbo boost" switch is a feature of the original Woodline Handmade (high-end) series, and is also included in this model.
This allows both pickups to be connected by pulling the tone knob, giving a more powerful and rounded sound (when the turbo switch is activated, the neck pickup volume control dictates the volume of the whole system, and the bridge pickup volume control is bypassed).
