The first thing you notice is the beautiful Quilted Maple top.

This figured maple is prized for its deep, three-dimensional grain, making every instrument visually unique. Combined with a satin open-pore finish, the result is elegant and natural rather than overly flashy.

Underneath lies a Nyato body, a tonewood known for its balanced response and warm midrange, making it perfect for a Jazz Bass-style instrument.

This tonewood combination delivers:

• clear attack and articulation from the maple

• warm lows and strong midrange from the nyato

The result is a bass that sits beautifully in a mix, whether in the studio or on stage.

Roasted Maple neck for stability and responsiveness

The neck is made from Roasted Maple, a heat-treated wood that significantly enhances stability.

This process provides several advantages:

• excellent resistance to humidity and temperature changes

• faster attack and drier tone

• smooth and comfortable playing feel

The roasted maple fingerboard contributes to this responsive feel. With a 400R radius and a 45 mm nut width, the bass remains comfortable despite its 5-string configuration.

The slightly downsized body shape, inspired by the WOODLINE Handmade Series, further enhances balance and playability.

The WL5-QM-AC RSM/M features Bacchus Original JB pickups paired with the Bacchus BBP2 preamp.
