SeventySeven STORK-STD-JT
Inspired by the spirit of classic semi-hollow jazz guitars while designed for modern players, the STORK embodies the craftsmanship developed by the Japanese manufacturer Deviser, based in Nagano since 1977.
Now part of the Japan Tune-Up Series, this model benefits from a meticulous setup carried out in Matsumoto, Japan. The result is a guitar that feels comfortable and responsive the moment you pick it up.
Its chambered semi-hollow construction combines a center block with deep internal chambers, delivering both the punch of an electric guitar and the natural resonance of a hollow instrument.
The maple top provides clarity, articulation and attack, while the okoume body – a wood with tonal properties similar to mahogany – adds warmth and musical depth. This combination creates a balanced tone with warm lows, rich mids and clear highs.
Equipped with SeventySeven AL2 pickups using Alnico II magnets, the guitar produces sparkling bell-like clean tones with smooth warmth. With overdrive, it delivers a lively and articulate crunch sound that responds beautifully to the player’s touch.
The maple neck and Micarta fingerboard provide stability, durability and smooth playability. As part of the Japan Tune-Up process, frets are carefully polished and their edges rounded for a comfortable playing experience across the entire neck.
Kluson® tuning machines ensure excellent tuning stability and smooth operation.
The transparent finish highlights the natural maple grain, giving the instrument a refined and timeless look.
Each guitar is inspected and adjusted in Japan, ensuring outstanding playability and reliability.
