Handcrafted at the Aska workshop in Matsumoto, this model belongs to the new RENEW 2026 series, featuring significant upgrades in tone, playability, and reliability.

 Carefully selected tonewoods

The 2-piece alder body delivers a perfectly balanced tone: warm lows, rich mids, and smooth highs.

Paired with a maple neck and fingerboard, the result is a clear, articulate response with excellent attack — ideal for clean tones, blues, funk, or driven sounds.

 Effortless playability

The Soft V neck profile offers a vintage feel while remaining extremely comfortable.

The 310R radius allows for lower action and modern playing techniques, making bends and fast runs feel natural.

Additional design improvements include:

• deeper cutaway for upper fret access
• recessed neck joint

 New “Awake” pickups (2026 upgrade)

A major evolution for this series:

• Alnico 4 (neck & middle): sweet highs, natural tone
• Alnico 5 (bridge): powerful, cutting sound

Combined with a Centralab oil capacitor, the tone becomes more responsive and organic.
