The Soul of the Wood: Flame Tochi and Madagascar Rosewood
For this prestige model, the master builders selected a rare and highly symbolic Japanese tonewood: Tochi (Japanese Horse Chestnut).

The Top: Carefully selected for its visual character, the flamed Tochi top features breathtaking figure patterns. To enhance this unique grain, an exclusive "Fade Blue" finish was custom-mixed for this showcase. It beautifully mimics the soft hues of an instrument that has gently aged over time.

The Body: Going beyond standard builds, the back of this guitar is also crafted from Tochi. Acoustically, this wood provides a crystal-clear tone, exceptionally resonant and dynamic in the mid-to-high frequency range.

The Fingerboard: The neck is paired with a Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard, a precious tonewood that has become incredibly scarce and is reserved exclusively for limited custom exhibition models. This dense wood offers an instant response under your fingertips, an organic warmth, and stunning visual elegance.
The Legacy of Yasuo Momose and the Aska Workshop
To bear the Momose name is to carry the history of premium Japanese guitar making. Founded in Matsumoto (Nagano) within the historic DEVISER parent company (established in 1977), the brand embodies the core values of Yasuo Momose. Celebrated as a Senior Master Builder, Mr. Momose shaped the identity of Japanese high-end guitars by creating his own custom tools and templates to bypass the limitations of factory machinery.
While modern factories rely heavily on computer-controlled CNC routers to uniform production, the ASKA workshop refuses to standardize a living material. Wood is organic; each piece has its own density, elasticity, and voice. The Momose craftsmen work traditionally, relying on their five senses. From delicate sandpaper polishing to the application of an ultra-thin lacquer top coat (allowing the wood fibers to breathe and resonate freely) and final setup, every stage is driven by human experience.

Neck & Bridge positions: Two custom humbuckers designed to add a modern twist to classic tones by slightly accentuating bass response and maximizing sustain. Utilizing an asymmetrical coil-winding technique, they capture rich high-end overtones while maintaining a tight, punchy low end.

Middle position: The Classic Strat® single-coil pickup delivers clear, crisp, and beautifully transparent clean tones.
Every pickup is meticulously positioned by measuring precise pole-piece spacing, ensuring a perfectly balanced volume and tone output when switching positions.
