Built as a 1-of-1 edition for all of Europe, it draws direct inspiration from the prestigious creations presented at the Deviser Special Showcase May 2026. It notably inherits the striking anodized aesthetic and design lineage of the showcase-exclusive MC-MV SP'26/E BLK-MH.
The Soul of Tone: Natural Acoustic Resonance
Every piece of wood selected for this guitar is treated as a living work of art. Its 2-Piece Alder body (Alder 2P) delivers a perfectly balanced tonal foundation: warm, singing midranges, tight lows, and smooth, sweet highs. Paired with a magnificent Indian Rosewood fingerboard, the instrument gains remarkable harmonic depth and organic warmth. The Maple neck, featuring an ultra-comfortable C-shape grip and satin finish, ensures seamless vibration transfer from the oiled bone nut all the way to the bridge.
The open-pore White Oil finish (WH/OIL) allows the wood to breathe freely while delivering an unmatched tactile feel. Visually, the contrast between the white oil finish, matching headstock, and vibrant red anodized hardware — complete with the classic early-era Momose logo engraved on the neck joint backplate — creates a stunning aesthetic unity.
A Handcrafted Legacy Guided by the Five Senses
Behind the MOMOSE name stands one of Japanese lutherie's greatest legends: Yasuo Momose. Senior Master Builder at Deviser's Aska Workshop since 1977, Yasuo Momose has dedicated his life to perfecting guitar craft. Rejecting the uniform mass production of CNC machines, he custom-designed his own hand tools, templates, and techniques to shape each wood piece according to its specific density, elasticity, and acoustic character.
Following the golden age of 1950s and 60s handcrafted instruments, every Momose guitar is crafted through the acute senses and hands of master artisans. From delicate sanding to wood binding along the rosewood fingerboard edges to prevent fret burrs, no detail is ever compromised.
