While most modern factories rely on computer-controlled CNC routers to process large quantities at once, Momose's elite team works traditionally, relying on their five senses. Because wood is a living material with individual variations in density, elasticity, and resonance, every single neck and body of the MJ・Five2/M is hand-shaped, sanded, and assembled. This traditional approach, reminiscent of the golden eras of the 1950s and 60s, infuses the instrument with a soul and longevity that only human hands can achieve.
