A Spalted Maple Top: A One-of-a-Kind Work of Art
The first glance at this instrument immediately evokes emotion. The top is sculpted from carefully selected Spalted Maple. This precious wood owes its spectacular, organic grain pattern to a natural maturation process in the heart of the forest. Each bass features its own visual signature, with dark lines running across the top like a piece of abstract art. To enhance this noble material, DEVISER chose a matte Open-pore finish with an ultra-thin layer of paint. Far from thick industrial coatings, this finish allows the wood to breathe, transmitting string vibrations directly to the body for a raw, woody, and lively resonance.
Absolute Playing Comfort Thanks to the "Japan Tune-up" Process
The secret to the exceptional playability of this model lies in the journey it takes before reaching your hands. Built to a strict set of specifications, each bass is individualy finished by DEVISER’s specialized technical team in Matsumoto, Japan. There, master luthiers execute the most meticulous adjustments by hand:

Fret Edge Processing: The edges of each fret are carefully rounded by hand using multiple files and sandpaper to eliminate any friction. Your movement across the fingerboard is perfectly smooth.

Nut & Saddle Adjustment: The slots of the PPS nut are accurately filed, and the brass saddles are individually adjusted to ensure a low, comfortable string action with zero buzz straight out of the box.
Premium Tonewoods Selected for Perfect Sonic Balance
The ultra-ergonomic body, inherited from the famous high-end WOODLINE series, is crafted from Nyatoh. This Southeast Asian wood provides a warm foundation and excellent definition in the mid-to-low range. It pairs beautifully with the Roasted Maple Neck and Fingerboard. This advanced thermal treatment extracts moisture from the wood fibers, giving the neck absolute stability against temperature and humidity changes, while granting it a beautiful amber hue. Acoustically, roasted maple delivers an immediate aged vintage tone, a sharp attack, and remarkable sustain.
Versatile Active Electronics and the Famous Turbo Switch
Equipped with a pair of Original JB single-coil pickups paired with the Bacchus BBP2 active preamp, this bass offers a modern sonic palette adjustable at will (Volume, Balance, Treble, Bass, and a Preamp On/Off switch). For fans of heavy, traditional bass tones, the tone knob conceals a Turbo Switch. By pulling it up (Push/Pull), you connect the two pickups in series. The instrument then delivers a thick, fat, and powerful sound, similar to a humbucker, supported by a high-density custom brass neck plate that beefs up the low end.
