Bacchus Duke Classic series 2017 FM LB: So first of all a big thank you to Stephane for his patience because as a nitpicker you can't do better than me ...very attentive he knew how to find me the table I was dreaming of for the style of LP I wanted . My Bacchus was originally reserved for a mag Stephane is arranged with them Thank you to you ... As for the guitar, what can I say that for the price, even if it's a lot of money for many of us, it's indecent for a handmade guitar... everything is nickel, perfect finish until the cavities of potentiometers. I would not compare to big brand of prestige but it hurts .... beautiful sound projection when empty, it vibrates throughout the body, a sign of quality lutherie and assembly. Once plugged in, everything is there on the 3 positions, the momose pickups do the job more than well, as well as for me in vintage and modern sounds, top what.... a Bacchus user of more happy!!! as soon as I can I take a Duke Master... So first of all thank you Stephane, professional, cool and always listening to the breakers like me who are looking for THE guitar .... The story begins a year ago with Miss Laura Cox and her little video of her Duke ... wahoo she too beautiful this guitar in black finish with wood veined ... then we like to scour the net for information on Bacchus and we find only positive reviews. .and we look at the videos...and we are interested in Seph's website : Japan guitar...we say to ourselves that it's not very expensive finally for a handmade guitar ok but it's not a Gibson...then moreover we have to wait... then we let the desire pass...we reason but we watch the facebook news from the corner of our eyes...then we see an arrival... fuck, there are only 3 available out of 9... and then we crack and we find ourselves as happy owner of a Duke in satin finish! we have to be stupid, I haven't even tried this shovel... well, not bad, everything I've read, seen, listened on the net is in accordance! The finishing is very bad..., the inlays, the bindings, the assembly, the polishing it's a killer of precision and quality! The sound, well it's top to my taste, in clean it's quite brilliant (it's not a TV either) with nice round bass and the tone pots do the job well (you can have nice jazzy sounds) then if you don't push too much it's quite vintage and crunchy and if you send well it's loud but it's still well defined. In the end it will take its place between my SG Junior, my Nighthawk and my LP std and Bfg and it's the only one whose history and manufacture I know! Hello Opinion following a few weeks after the purchase of my Bacchus Bpb 100 ex. The step of the purchase was hard to cross because except to know a friend or to go in Brittany one cannot try. Fortunately, we can count on Stéphane's photos which reveal all the beauty of the bass! Once I received it, I was frankly bluffed. It is superb, impeccable finish, beautiful color. In terms of playability, it's the best I have never heard a bass that sounded so good when empty! Once plugged in, no surprise, we are on a Fen type sound... vintage I replaced the original pickups by di marzio dp 122 and I made it a rock beast The original pickups are also very good but too vintage for me and the sound is a very personal story. In summary I'm happy with my purchase and I'd probably buy a bacchus jb like to replace my fender jb mex! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
The guitars are superb. I fell in love with the bacchus model 59. And I am not disappointed. Everything for the order went superbly and the guitar arrived in perfect condition. As soon as my finances will allow me I will come back to you
Received a Bacchus Handmade bass recently. The instrument is really perfect and sounds amazing. I love the low end of this bass, which is the best I've had for a precision style bass. The neck is a treat. All good stuff .... I'm looking forward to my 2nd one
I am the proud owner of a Bacchus Imperial DX/R. In addition to the fact that it is very very sexy to the eye, the quality of lutherie is bluffing. It holds the chord in a prodigious way and I don't even talk about the sound... It would be vain. Perfect balance, great versatility via the different pickup configurations. A killer.
Well, I received on Wednesday my Bacchus G Studio (superstrat with cherry top) after I finally broke down at the end of last week! Beautiful finish, and above all it sounds great, the Mojotone pickups are incisive and bring a lot of presence and precision especially in bridge position and saturated sound. In short, I am not going to write a whole article, but I am very satisfied with my little last one! Thanks to Stéphane for his availability and his professionalism. First of all I would like to thank Stéphane who supported my hesitations and my impatience, and who knew how to direct me towards the bass of my dreams. In one weekend my heart fell on a sublime Woodline DX-4 AC-BGP, ordered on Monday morning. After a few weeks of waiting, making it more sexy day after day, here it is. Visual slap and retina fracture when I unpacked it, followed by a few long hours waiting to plug it in. And here I am at home ready to test it, the second wave of slaps arrives. the 1st one by touching this dream handle, as beautiful as effective, and here it is finally time to test it. and Whoua ! it sounds like death, as much from the fingertips as in slap, that is the pickups, the strings, the finish everything is perfect on this bass, the tests continue I have it only for a week, but each time with an incalculable pleasure. The only mistake I made was to compare it with my dear Sandberg, which I already thought was perfect, and now I realize that I really made a good choice!!... Thanks again Japanguitar!!! I'll start in order. Contact super friendly and very professional with someone who knows and loves his job (it has the merit to be mentioned it is not always the case). The duke was a bit slow (it's a craft, don't forget that) but then once I received it and plugged it in ... all the waiting is gone in a fraction of a second! The finish is just SUBLIME ! The guitar vibrates and sounds incredible when unplugged and once plugged in, it's the kind of sound that transports you immediately. The three pickup positions are each with a real character. I forgot my G...in a second. Thank you very much for the quality of this guitar and the kindness in our exchanges. For the aficionados of the great American brand forget your standards and go for it!
