The SeventySeven ALBATROSS-JAZZ-JT marks the return of a cult model. Designed for lovers of jazz, blues and muted yet expressive sounds, this semi-hollow guitar is a blend of craftsmanship and modernity.
A light, vibrant body
The body of the ALBATROSS-JAZZ-JT combines a spruce top with a chambered okoumé back.

Spruce is a mythical wood for jazz and acoustic guitars: it provides a clear, harmonically rich sound, highly responsive to the nuances of playing. Each attack of the pick results in immediate projection, ideal for arpeggios and chordal playing.

Okoumé, with its large internal cavities, makes the guitar lighter while amplifying its natural resonance. The result is an incredibly comfortable instrument, even during long sessions, with a unique warmth and depth of sound.
A fluid, precise neck
The maple neck combined with a micarta fingerboard offers stability and comfort. The frets are carefully polished and rounded by hand in the Matsumoto workshop (Nagano, Japan), for smooth, seamless playing, right through to the treble.
A timelessly elegant look
With its tortoiseshell binding, half-herringbone purfling and discreet dot markings, the ALBATROSS-JAZZ-JT blends sobriety and refinement. The finish is meticulous, and the first series will be delivered with an additional limited-edition tortoiseshell pickguard.
Singing pickups
Equipped with two SeventySeven AL2s with Alnico 2 magnets, this guitar delivers a warm, singing sound, with smooth highs and round mids. Perfect for jazz, but versatile enough for blues or pop, this pickup set brings out the nuances and expression of the guitarist.
Japan Tune Up Series
Part of the Japan Tune-Up Series, the ALBATROSS-JAZZ-JT is manufactured to strict specifications, then carefully tuned by luthiers in Japan. Each guitar is checked and adjusted: string action, fret polishing, tuning... everything is thought out so that the instrument is ready to play as soon as it comes out of its case.
