A sound signature inspired by acoustics
The Seventy Seven brand, launched by Deviser in 2006, draws directly on the heritage of Headway luthiers. Their challenge? To apply the manufacturing techniques used in high-end acoustic guitars to semi-hollow electric guitars.
The result is a unique approach, in which the body does not merely house the electronics, but becomes a central element of the sound. The craftsmanship, the precision of the construction and the choice of materials give rise to a guitar with a distinct sonic character: rich, open and organic.
The charm of the Flame Maple
The laminated flamed maple body (top, back and sides) immediately catches the eye… but above all, the ear.
Maple is known for :
- its remarkable clarity
- his precise attack
- its ability to bring out every note with clarity
Paired with a maple neck, this produces a balanced, slightly bright tone with excellent clarity, perfect for modern jazz, expressive blues or even more subtle rock styles.
Expressive and musical electronics
The Seventy Seven AL2 pickups, fitted with Alnico 2 magnets, offer a truly inspiring range of tones :
- a warm, velvety clean tone, never harsh
- a bell-like brilliance, ideal for open chords
- at maximum volume: a crisp, precise and resonant sound
With its comprehensive controls (2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, 3-way switch), the guitar adapts to your playing style without ever restricting it.

This version is part of the JAPAN TUNE UP range, which makes all the difference.
Before dispatch, each instrument is handled by Japanese technicians in Matsumoto to :
