It was under this concept that the Bacchus brand's flagship line, the "Handmade Series", was launched. The first fixed-handle model in this series was the DUKE series, which includes the long-selling DUKE-STANDARD model. In recent years, production has not been able to keep up with demand for DUKE, so BACCHUS has started to develop new alternatives to meet this DUKE hunger. Quality wood and exceptional acoustics

Flamed Maple top: In addition to offering spectacular visual appeal thanks to its natural patterns sublimated by a translucent finish, flamed maple adds remarkable clarity and tension to the sound. This dense wood promotes a precise attack and brilliant highs, perfectly balancing the deep bass of the Nyatoh body.
Nyatoh body: Known for its warm, rich acoustic properties, mahogany gives this guitar deep resonance and meaty mids, ideal for styles ranging from blues to rock.

Advanced design for perfect playability

Set-Neck neck: The neck is attached using a deep-joint system that ensures optimum transmission of vibrations between the body and the neck, enabling exceptional resonance. The Slim U shape of the neck provides maximum comfort, even for guitarists with small hands, facilitating smooth, fast movements.
Thinner body for lighter weight: Bacchus has slightly reduced the thickness of the body to improve portability without compromising aesthetics or sound, offering a lighter guitar while retaining the acoustic power typical of the DUKE series.

Every Bacchus DUKE is carefully inspected and adjusted at Deviser's workshops in Matsumoto, Japan. This manual process ensures that each instrument is perfectly adjusted before shipping, giving you optimum playability from the moment you receive it.
