The HEADWAY HD-YOZAKURA'25/STD is not just an instrument, it's a living work of art, inspired by Japanese nature and the memory of master luthier Yasuo Momose. Produced in a limited edition for 2025 (15 worldwide, including 2 for Europe), it embodies the spirit of spring in Japan, both in its look and sound.
Unique aesthetics and top-of-the-range finishes
The Yozakura Purple Pearl color, inspired by cherry blossoms at night, subtly changes appearance according to the light. The petal-shaped pickguard, cut from Purpleheart, as well as the cherry blossom inlays on the fingerboard and the swallows on the headstock, tell a poetic story with every glance.

Sitka spruce top: a high-end classic. This wood is renowned for its rapid response, tonal balance and beautiful projection.

Back and sides in Yamazakura (Japanese mountain cherry): harder than mahogany, it gives a tight bass, a warm midrange and luminous highs. Ideal for arpeggios and open tunings.

African mahogany neck: warmth, stability and playing comfort.

Fingerboard and bridge in Richlite: a very dense composite material, similar to ebony, but more stable and ethical. It offers great precision and longevity.
