The Bacchus BFV-JV is no ordinary guitar. It's a nod to the golden age of rock, but crafted with the seriousness, craftsmanship and acoustic sensibility for which DEVISER, a handcrafted Japanese manufacturer since 1977, is renowned.
A semi-hollow Flying V with a spruce top... now there's an encounter you don't see every day - and one that sounds as good as it intrigues.

Semi-hollow construction for a unique character

The BFV-JV adopts a chambered body in Nyatoh, a mahogany-like wood renowned for its natural warmth, expressive midrange and generous sustain.
By hollowing out this body very deeply, Bacchus achieves a large internal cavity that reacts like a real acoustic body: more depth, more air, more musicality.

On top, the guitar is fitted with a spruce top, the flagship wood of great acoustics. Reactive, dynamic and extremely resonant, it brings a touch of clarity and harmonic richness rare on an electric guitar. The result is a full, living, breathing timbre.

The result is a warm, organic sound signature, very "old school" in spirit, but with the precision and stability of modern instruments.

Gold Foil for an addictive retro grain

The Gold Foil mounted on the BFV-JV is directly inspired by vintage Japanese pickups.
With a moderate output (~6k), they offer :

• a bright, clear grain, full of sparkle,

• natural warmth thanks to the humbucking Alnico 5 magnet,

• a richly nuanced sound, perfect for blues, vintage rock, indie or textured cleans.

The retro look of the Gold Foil enhances the bold silhouette of this semi-hollow Flying V - a unique blend of elegance and character.

T.O.M bridge for sustain and stability

The Tune-O-Matic ensures direct transmission of vibrations.
No vibrato means impeccable tuning stability, even when playing hard.
Ideal for fully exploiting the guitar's natural resonance.

The 3-position selector is a classic toggle switch, simple, effective and instantaneous.
