Pearl White & Black Pearl : a subtle and sophisticated aesthetic
The Pearl White (PWH) colour is far from just plain white.
Developed from recipes used on high-end Japanese models, it offers a delicate pearlescent depth, whose shine varies depending on the light and viewing angle. The Black Pearl pickguard elegantly highlights this finish, adding contrast and character.
The look is completed by a matching headstock, a detail rarely found at this price point, which reinforces the impression of a coherent and accomplished instrument.
Woods chosen for their sound... and playing pleasure
Poplar body
Lightweight and balanced, poplar offers a very consistent response. It emphasises the mid-range, with a clear attack and a naturally musical sound. The result is a comfortable, resonant guitar that is easy to master, whether playing clean or distorted.
Roasted maple neck
The roasted maple is a real bonus. Heat treatment stabilises the wood, limits warping over time and gives a more mature sound, similar to a neck that has already been played. This improves sustain, resonance and, above all, feel.
Purpleheart stained fingerboard
Dense and rigid, Purpleheart stands out for its precise, brilliant sound, with beautiful note-by-note definition. Dyed black, it visually evokes ebony while retaining its sonic personality. An excellent compromise between attack, clarity and premium aesthetics.
Stainless steel frets & modern playability
The GS-2DX RSM/P is equipped with stainless steel jumbo frets.

Total versatility: S-S-H & coil tap
Directly inspired by Japanese G-STUDIO models, the S-S-H configuration covers a wide sound spectrum.
The humbucker in the bridge position is equipped with a coil tap, which can be activated via a dedicated mini-switch. With a single flick of the switch, you can go from a powerful, dense sound to a finer, more snappy texture, similar to a single coil. Ideal for switching from rock to funk, blues to modern pop without changing guitars.

Behind this GS-2DX lies all the experience of DEVISER, a Japanese company founded in 1977 in Nagano.
Even though the Universe series is produced outside Japan, each instrument complies with strict specifications and undergoes quality control in Japan, in the Matsumoto workshops.
The result: a guitar that is ready to play right out of the box, reliable, well-tuned, and built to last.
