The Soul of Timber and Handcrafted Heritage
At Momose, industrial uniformity has no home. Every piece of wood possesses its own distinct density, elasticity, and resonance. This is why the ASKA workshop completely rejects CNC routing machines for its flagship line. Master craftsmen rely on their five senses to sculpt each 2-piece Ash body (Ash 2P) and maple neck by hand. The ash provides an explosive dynamic response with tight lows and crystalline highs, beautifully balanced by the warmth and roundness of a selected Indian Rosewood fingerboard.
The instrument is coated in a premium Top Lacquer (thin nitrocellulose finish) that allows the wood to breathe and age naturally. This promises an incredible tonal maturation over the years and a neck feel of unparalleled comfort.

Series/Parallel Switch: Replacing the old rhythm circuit, this switch wires both single-coil pickups in series. Your guitar instantly delivers a thick, heavy, and warm tone similar to a high-end humbucker—perfect for driving rock riffs and soaring leads.

High-Pass & Low-Pass Filters: The upper roller pots now act as precision frequency filters, allowing you to tame the native bite of the Offset design or roll off the low end depending on your amplifier setup.

Perfection lies in the details. To eliminate traditional design flaws like string slippage or loss of sustain, Momose fits its proprietary MS-Type bridge as standard. Combined with GOTOH® SD91 MG L locking tuners and an oiled bone nut, tuning stability remains rock-solid.
For modern playability, the fretboard features a flat 310R radius loaded with Jescar® frettes, allowing for low action and choke-free string bends. The traditional "C" shape neck benefits from an elegant Wood Binding (using matching rosewood on the edges) for a smooth, seamless feel while protecting against weather-induced sharp fret ends. Finally, Luminlay® glow-in-the-dark side dots and a dual-contact Puretone® jack guarantee total peace of mind on the darkest stages.
